Compared to society years ago, we have so much more information as to materials that are harmful when we come in contact with them. Being so health-conscious, most of us exercise our due diligence to be informed about the ingredients in shampoos, lotions, laundry detergents, and foods. Following those same concerns, a business owner may feel some hesitation about the chemicals involved in fireproofing spray. Is fire retardant spray safe to breathe? Is it safe if someone comes in physical contact with treated materials? Here at Certified Flameproofing, we want to alleviate the concerns of our customers and guarantee the safety of the products we use to treat materials with flame retardant spray.
First, we want to assure all business owners that fire retardant spray used on all materials is non-toxic. In addition to that, the treatment is water-based and environmentally friendly. As holders of an FDNY Certificate of Fitness, only fireproofing sprays that are approved by the FDNY are allowed to be used. Without this certificate from the FDNY, we are not able to, in turn, issue an approved flame retardant certificate to any business that has had fireproofing treatment. We need this Certificate from the FDNY, and the only way we have it is by using compliant materials. As a result, the FDNY has signed off on all of the products that we use for fireproofing treatments, If our customers would like more information, we have material safety data sheets and product sheets for all of our spray treatments that we can distribute.
At Certified Flameproofing, we understand your safety concerns and take them seriously. We are happy to reassure any client that once a fire retardant is applied to the materials in his establishment, there are no deleterious side effects. In fact, flameproofing your establishment will only enhance the safety of your business property. Our materials are top of the line, safe, and FDNY-approved. Additionally, we take pride in the fact that we are experts in applying these treatments. Please contact us at your leisure so we can assist you with your flameproofing needs.
